THE PROBLEM
The global transition to sustainable energy faces numerous challenges. Despite technological advancements, communities often lack access to energy-efficient solutions that are easy to implement and personalize. Energy systems across sectors remain fragmented, with limited cross-sector collaboration, preventing holistic solutions. The biggest challenge is ensuring that no one is left behind in this transition, especially vulnerable populations that face economic, social, or environmental disadvantages.
THE PROJECT
The ENERGENIUS project introduces an innovative, community-driven energy transition model, uniting stakeholders from energy, healthcare, finance, traffic, and real estate on one platform. Its core, the ENERGENIUS Suite, integrates Digital Twin Models for real-world energy simulations, Serious Games to build energy-saving habits, Cross-Sectoral Dashboards for real-time data insights, and AI-Driven Recommendations that offer personalized, actionable suggestions for energy efficiency. This holistic approach empowers communities to participate actively in the energy transition while promoting sustainable practices across multiple domains.
The main objectives of the ENERGENIUS project are the following:
Build digital synergy by creating a collaborative platform with tools for seamless data-sharing and cross-sector engagement
Achieve data mastery through AI-assisted data integration, ensuring quality, privacy, and interoperability across all project datasets
Create an immersive experience with interactive 3D models and gamification to promote energy literacy and sustainable practices
Empower users with ΑΙ-driven guidance to support energy-saving decisions and smart investments
Generate real-world impact by deploying tools in demonstration sites to validate, scale, and benchmark solutions in real-life settings
Innovate with a sustainable marketplace that rewards eco-friendly behaviors and supports new business models and services
OUR ROLE
- Design and develop a comprehensive data observatory focusing on 9 Key Knowledge Arenas to feed into the SUITE's modules.
- Enhance user experience with strategic insights for energy preservation with a focus in e-mobility integration.
- Pioneer in processing diverse data sets to ensure quality and interoperability.
- Craft advanced digital twin models to aid AI in driving smarter, more efficient energy use.
- Lead integration and responsiveness of the ENERGENIUS Suite, ensuring seamless user interaction and tool functionality.
